Marc Young, M.D., P.h.D.Marc Young MD, PhD is a board certified ophthalmologist specializing in cataract surgery and comprehensive ophthalmology.

He grew up in Broomall Pa., and went to Marple-Newton High School. After obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Physics at Drexel University, he then attended The University of Rochester, where he earned both MD and PHD degrees. For his PHD in Physics, he engaged in vision-related research.

His medical internship was spent at Crozer-Chester Medical Center. This was followed by an ophthalmology residency at the University of Pennsylvania’s Scheie Eye Institute.

In 1985, Dr. Young opened an independent ophthalmology practice in Havertown, Pa. He later joined Dr. Richard Kresloff.

He resides in Voorhees, New Jersey with his wife of 40+ years Sheryl. He enjoys photography (a lifetime hobby) and recently has gotten into biking. His daughter Casey lives in California, pursuing an acting career.
